Biohazard waste, also known as infectious waste, is any material that poses a risk of infection to humans, animals, or the environment. This type of waste commonly originates from healthcare facilities, laboratories, and medical research centers. It includes any items contaminated with blood, bodily fluids, or other potentially infectious materials. Proper disposal of biohazard waste is essential to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
